Located in the south part of the P.R.China. Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is wide for about 610 kilometers from the north to the south and long for about 750 kilometers from the east to the west. The total area is more than 230,000 million square kilometers. There are six municipalities under the jurisdiction of the Region-Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Wuzhou, Beihai and Fang Cheng Port; eight prefectures Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Wuzhou, Qinzhou, Yulin, Bose and Hechi; eighty three counties (cities at county level). The city of Nanning is the capital of the autonomous region.
